| Scholarships can be applied for each year at Charlotte beginning in late October. Scholarships must be applied for. We do not use an automatic merit scholarship process. |
| Notification for scholarship offers have been delayed this year and may continue through the summer. If you have applied for scholarships and are awarded one, you will receive an email. The scholarship offer will also appear in your scholarship portal. |
| Once a scholarship offer has been made, within 24 hours an offer email will be generated to the student. Once accepted, the award information will be automatically sent to Financial Aid and put in a queue. Financial Aid is in the process of gradually getting awards listed on students accounts. For questions about your student account, please contact Niner Central at 704-687-8622. |

Important Dates
| Late Oct.: NinerScholars portal opens for applications for the next academic year. |
| March 15: First-year only scholarship applications due. |
| Apr. 1: First-year, continuing and non-traditional student applications due. |
| Jul. 30: Reentry student scholarship applications due. |
| May – July: Estimated award notification period for 2024-25 academic year scholarships. |
